The Tensometer Simulator featured several metals and plastics for tensile testing. The emphasis was on the software being a simulation, rather than simply pressing a button or giving you the answer. Users had to select a test material, drag it into the virtual grips and then operate the tensometer. Data was produced and users could calculate the maximum break point and Youngs Modulus.
The software is now in further development and a mobile version is planned in the near future. |
